Paycheck to Paycheck

In September 2022, the U.S. Census Bureau released a report on 2021 U.S. income. It's the most recent data available. However, the report focused on  household income, and did not provide detailed information on how much individual earners made.

According to the report, 9.3% of American households across all races made under $15,000; 8.1% of American households made $15,000 to $24,999; and 7.8% of Americans made $25,000 to $34,999. Added together, 25.2% of American households across all races made under $35,000 in 2021.

Bankrate.com has reported that More than 1 in 3 workers (34 percent) say they are living paycheck to paycheck. That means they have little to no money left over for savings after covering their monthly expenses. Nearly 6 in 10 Americans (59 percent) are uncomfortable with their level of emergency savings.  An authority no less than Warren Buffet admitted today's economy works largely for the super rich and everyone else at some level or the other is struggling financially.   The No Money Book was written for people at the lowest income bracket but many of the lessons are also applicable to the middle class or even more affluent readers.  The No Money Book is not just a financial self help book it is a business plan for living,  our grandparents and great grand parents lived through the depression in the 1930s by learning the art of what I call " Thrifty Living ",  which essentially means making sure every dollar earned is put toward something that will increase in value.  For the average person that means an affordable home,  conservative investments such as government bonds or a high interest savings account.  It means squeezing pennies until they scream.  This is achieveable and the No Money Book is the Guide.
